Every Nomadic watch gets a permanent digital identity the moment it leaves the bench: registered on the ubloquity Blockchain at build confirmation, quality-controlled with evidence, activated by its owner through the Nomadic storefront, and transferable for life — with the full story travelling with the watch.

Why it matters
Nomadic makes ~2,000 watches a year in Belfast, sold in 45+ countries through Shopify and global stockists — with no digital way today to verify provenance, authenticity, or ownership history, and no view of stockist customers at all. The passport closes that gap:
- Authenticity & provenance — an immutable, verifiable record from bench to wrist, including the watchmaker, batches and bill of materials.
- Ownership for life — warranty activation is digital ownership activation; the lifetime guarantee travels with the watch across resale and gifting.
- A direct owner relationship — counter and stockist buyers self-register, giving Nomadic its first complete owner view without taking PII from stockists.
- Regulation-ready — the passport's public layer maps to the EU ESPR digital-product-passport fields (an executable test proves the mapping).
- Rework intelligence — every QC failure is recorded with failure modes and photo evidence, feeding the admin trend dashboard.
